As we leave New Brunswick, we still had a question: why the addition of “new”? So again to the internet for answers. The original, old, Brunswick was from the area in Germany where King George III (the English king during the American Revolution time) was descended. This German town was called Braunschweig, which means “brown,” and the English word “wick” means “village.” Now we know. Then there’s this package of food that we saw and just had to try.
The people in New Brunswick have been so nice to talk to. Even the drivers were friendly, letting us in instead of cutting us off. Lovely place to be!
