So we’re learning how to make lemonade. The truck repair keeps getting more and more involved, so now we’re waiting for a rear axle assembly to be found and delivered to the Dodge dealer. We hadn’t expected to be in town for more than a night and it’s been almost a week.
But we’re seeing God’s hand in getting us to the right people at the right time. First, the part being replaced was from a company that has an office here in town, so we could go there and actually talk with someone. Second, this newest part is under warranty and half the labor will be covered. This 14-year old truck should be good to go for a few years. Third, the Dodge dealer had a driver who was willing to take us to Publix to do some grocery shopping since we had only brought enough food with us for a couple of days.
We got a rental car this afternoon so we’re going to go play tomorrow. Wonder what delights we’ll find. Stay tuned.
