After a brief visit with our Florida family, we took off after 2 days when we heard that Hurricane Milton was coming our way. We took off for the northeast corner of South Carolina for a few days (9 posts) and then to Milledgeville, Ga., (4 posts) since it was close to the campground we love staying in before we drive home.
Come join us as we learn about the history of cotton in South Carolina and the capital of Georgia during the Civil War–and so much more. Now that we’re home, we can recover from surgeries and enjoy winter in Georgia. Our planned next trip will start in March to see our Florida family and then go to St. Louis to begin the Lewis and Clark trail to the Pacific Ocean.
