We stayed at Red Oak Campground in Baraboo, WI, while we’re exploring the Dells. On our last morning, it was so cold outside this morning that the external water faucet froze. Luckily Barney had filled our water tank last night, but we have to get the faucet working so we can safely unhook our hose. My oh-so-smart husband took our electric heater outside to warm up the faucet. Ain’t he great? We’re the last campers in this campground—again.
Chronologically we drove next to the NE corner of Iowa for a week’s stay and then drove back into Wisconsin a short ways to visit the Frank Lloyd Wright home and the House on the Rock. To make life less confusing for you, I’m going to cover these two stops and a quick visit to Prairie du Chien just inside Wisconsin on the Mississippi River before we go to Iowa.
