With our available free time since we’re retired, we decided to explore our home turf a little on this in-between time, so we went to Georgia’s governor’s mansion in Buckhead to see the Christmas decorations.
We wanted to say goodbye and thank you to Governor and Mrs. Deal and welcome Governor- Elect and Mrs. Kemp.
Two Tri Delta alums from my DDD Day Group are docents there, and it was fun to see them “at work.”
We loved seeing the beautiful chandelier in the entry way.
The next two pictures are some of the models that prisoners in some Georgia prisons made for us to enjoy at the governor’s mansion. Hope these men can use these talents when they get out.
