After our long stay in Lake City, Florida, with our truck repairs (see saga of the trucks for the back story), we got to Brian’s for a two-week stay. They live in Palm City that’s on the Atlantic side of Florida about an hour north of West Palm. Jana’s parents, Joe and Vicki, were so kind to us by letting us park our RV in their driveway while we were staying in Stuart. With water and electricity, we’re doing well. They have an outside shower that we really enjoyed using.
trip to the Keys
With Jana (our daughter-in-law) away for a week to London and Paris with her mom and sister, our son Brian, his sons, and Barney and I drove down to the Florida Keys for a few days. Jana’s family has a get-away home in Key Largo that we’re staying in. The homes in this community are mostly trailers that have additions built on.
After we got here yesterday, we took off for the beach. My view was beautiful, so I had a chance to read.
Can’t believe I actually made it to the Keys! Off to Key West on Wednesday.
